I bought this book as a resource for my middle school son and, as stated by the other reviewers, it is loaded with good information that it helpful to students and parents. However… it has NO INDEX. It’s comparable to a world almanac with a 1 page table of contents and no index. Yes – it does have an accompanying CD for easy printing but, again, the access points are so limited that the usefulness of this resource is also quite limited. I’ll be sending mine back.

As a former high school history teacher, I recommend this nicely written reference book. Its a good starting point for jumping into any subject matter.

This is a very affordable & interesting reference book for every home, not just homeschooling families. It’s got a lot of info packed tight. I like Sonya Haskins’ style, very concise.

This is a great resource. I would put forth that it is too bad it is titled for Homeschoolers because it would be a great resource for any school or student.
The lists are just amazing. IT is fun to just sit and read through this book. It is also educational to just sit and thumb through this book. IT is a great place to start for reports, history lessons and more.
Well worth the money.
