This item is more like a brochure than a book. The advice provided is factual and can be helpful but the majority of information seems too obvious and so simplistic that it doesn’t offer enough to parents and student-athletes who are attempting to understand the complicated process of athletic recruiting. The publishers of Quick Easy Guides state “our books are short, sweet and cheap,” which may be fine for some subjects but not for an issue as complicated as athlete recruiting.
I would recommend spending a few extra dollars on one of the many books that provide far more detailed information in order to get a better overall understanding of what you as a parent or student-athlete can do to better market yourself to the colleges you are interested in attending. This brochure/book may get you started but I think you will find you need more to get the most out of your efforts.
