I read one a day. This way my day starts off with a good laugh, at least for 101 of them. The ‘possum story is a must read.

I laughed, I cried and I just couldn’t put the book down. Thank you Roger for sharing a lifetime of columns about life, love and the beauties of life. As I read I found myself getting acquainted with the author’s family and yet at the same time many of the same things have happened to me. I just didn’t take the time to smile,laugh or reflect on them when they were happening. Perhaps now I will!

I received this book as a gift and now I’m getting 2 more copies to give to others. It is the kind of humor you’re not embarrassed to laugh at as Aylworth gives insight into the life of a large family. It’s obvious he loves his kids even though they’ve added to the “silver” ,(he likes that term better than gray) in his hair. He has chronicled the life of the large family in a way that hits the highlights of hilarity as well as the sentiments of a small child’s pure love. This book is a joy.
