Distance Degrees, by Mark Wilson, offers a fair amount of information on distance learning from the standpoint of a lay- person. This book is adequate for introductory research to distance learning, however, severely insufficient to make any informed decision. Some of the data presented is erroneous, aesthetics associated with various degrees and colleges are omitted, and the lists of information are by no means comprehensive. This book pays special attention to distance MBA’s, although still with many shortcomings. This book will suffice if coupled with extensive online research, i.e. USNews, School websites.
